Femininity revised in smaller proportions
The Midnight Collection by Harry Winston is characterized by timeless classics; timepieces that marry the purity of design with the elegant spirit of the most refined Swiss watchmaking traditions. Women’s timepieces have always been prominently featured in the Midnight Collection, and this year, Harry Winston continues this tradition with the introduction of a smaller 29mm model. More than just a smaller case size, everything about the new Midnight Automatic 29mm has been carefully rethought and redesigned to create a more feminie and graceful timepiece.
A case for diamonds
Diamonds are synonymous with the House of Harry Winston and the Midnight Automatic 29mm scintillates with the light of 64 brilliant-cut diamonds expertly set in an 18-karat rose gold case. While the case is the smallest in the Midnight Collection, the size of the diamonds has remained the same. With its larger diamonds, the timepiece case creates a sense of luxury, and captures the same glamorous spirit of Harry Winston’s fine jewellery. A Harry Winston icon to the core, the signature codes of the brand are firmly in place with three larger diamonds that are set near the crown to evoke the shape of the arched doorway of Harry Winston’s Fifth Avenue Flagship Salon.
A face of luminous beauty
Soft, billowing cloud formations appear on the natural white mother-of-pearl dial, a delicate backdrop for the feminine gold Arabic numerals at 3, 6 and 9 o´clock while the top of the dial is crowned with a spectacular emerald-cut diamond. The arrow-shaped hour markers are accented by eight brilliant-cut diamonds and the hands, new for the 29mm models, are gently tapered.
A smaller movement for a smaller case size
This latest member of the Midnight Collection marks a special occasion for Harry Winston, as it is the first 29mm timepiece to be fitted with a mechanical automatic movement. Taking into account the growing number of women who appreciate fine mechanical movements, a smaller high-end caliber has been used to fit inside the new 29mm case. Equipped with the latest technology, a flat silicon balance spring, this timepiece also features a 22-karat rose gold rotor and beautiful hand finishes on the movement, including circular Côtes de Genève, rhodium plating and circular graining that can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback. Available in warm 18-karat rose gold and elegant 18-karat white gold, the Midnight Automatic 29mm replicates the pearly white of the dial on the seamless, white alligator strap with a classic rose or white gold ardillon buckle.
