One of the most respected publication in the field of horology, Watch World, from the Chitralekha Group, hosted the third edition of the Watch World Awards at the Pullman Hotels, Gurgaon, India on October 12th, 2012.

 

The event, which saw attendance by watch brands such as Harry Winston, Cartier, Greubel & Forsey, Parmigiani, Zenith, Hublot, HYT, Bulgari, TAG Heuer, Dior, Breitling, Corum, Romain Jerome, Seiko, Citizen, Titan, Timex, Rotary, and many others, saw stiff competition amongst the brands with Harry Winston winning the “Best Concept Watch of the Year” prize and the “Watch of the Year” commendation with the revolutionary Opus 12, as well as the “Fashion Watch of the Year” prize with the Midnight Moon Phase.

 

Moderated by Chitralekha’s President and Publisher, Mitrajit Bhattacharya, the international jury comprised master watchmaker from Switzerland Antoine Simonin; television commentator and former India cricket captain Ravi Shastri;  image consultant Chhaya Momaya; leading fashion designer Priyadarshini Rao, along with established marketing consultants from Market Gate Shripad Nadkarni and Sharda Agarwal.  Celebrities Neha Dhupia, Preity Zinta, Prateik, Zoa Morani and Sagarika Ghatge added Bollywood glamour to the event.
