For the third consecutive year, Harry Winston was presenting sponsor of the International Hall of Fame Awards Gala held by the International Women’s Forum (IWF) at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco.

The stellar gala, presented by Mistress of Ceremonies Shahira Amin, Egypt's storied journalist, CNN's Inside Africa, was the grand finale to IWF World Leadership Conference. Themed “Ideas Remaking the World in a New Age of Discovery”, the three-day event drew hundreds of influential women leaders to the Bay Area from more than 40 countries, all united to explore the future of politics, technology, science, healthcare and more.

Harry Winston helped to celebrate the inductions into the IWF Hall of Fame in its own distinctive way, with Randy Soto, Harry Winston’s Vice President of Retail, US Salons, presenting each of the honorees with a timepiece from the iconic Avenue Collection. Radiating an aura of sophistication and femininity, these creations are a perfect match for the leading ladies who received these precious tokens of appreciation: first Olympic Gold Medalist from Morocco and the first woman Gold Medalist from all of Africa Nawal El Moutawakel; House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, the first woman Speaker of the House and first woman in American history to lead a major political party in Congress; and Patricia Summitt, the all-time, topwinning coach in NCAA basketball history of either a men's or women's team in any division.
